January 1st 2008 was the start of a new life for me. A had a vision of a new business in Thailand: The Sweet Cafe.The idea to open a German bakery and restaurant came to me from the lack of good bread and fresh coffee in Koh Phangan. I wanted to share these things with the locals, my friends, and my family on the island.
The business was an immediate success and the demand from the customers has enabled The Sweet Cafe to supply 100% gluten-free bread (Rye bread, Pumpernickle, or Spelt bread), flour free cakes, decaffeinated coffee with soy milk and many different healthy drinks and foods.
My wish is for Sweet Cafe to continue to deliver a consistent quality of food at reasonable prices.
